You’re Doing A Desservice To Mahama – Lawyer Akoto Ampaw To Tsatsu Tsikata

There have been a legal tussle between the lawyers for the petitioner, John Mahama and the first and second respondent, Nana Akuffo Addo and the Electoral Commission.

The Petitioner, John Mahama is seeking to reopen the case by calling the chairperson of the Electoral Commission to mount the witness box.

Lawyer Akoto Ampaw in refuting the allegations against the electoral commission came up with more damning allegations today and caused massive stir places the lawyers for the NDC in a very tight corner.

The legal head for the petitioner, Lawyer Tsatsu Tsikata earlier claimed that the electoral commissioner could give some results which were allegedly different from that of the returning officers during the election hence their decision to the EC boss to mount the witness box.

Akoto Ampaw, Lawyer for Nana Akuffo Addo however mounted a strong defence saying the case could not be reopened making references to the case laws as far back as 1982.

Speaking to the supreme Court justices, the lawyer revealed he’s alterly shocked Tsatsu Tsikata and his team didn’t anticipate their strategic defence against the petitioner’s case.

And according to him, Tsatsu is doing more harm than good to the petioner, Mahama.
