Yesterday at Accra Sport Stadium both clubs showed their world class playing skills the end of the day Kotoko won over Accra Heart of Oak as they drew 1:1 all and played penalties.
Kotoko player Abdul Fatawu Safiu scored in the 5th minutes of the first half to put the Porcupine warrior upfront.
The fans cheered on, which gingered the opponent Accra heart of oak to raised up their game that won them a penalty in the dying minutes as they converted to level with the Porcupine warriors, Asante Kotoko FC. Heart of Oak missed one of their five penalties as Amos Frimpong converted the fifth spot-kick.
Kotoko Safiu and Hearts Mohammed Alhassan scored the both goals respectively that ended up in the penalties shoot-out. Both players were part of Ghana’s provisional squad for the AFCON, 2019.
