[Video] Another Record Set As Shatta Wale Filled The Fantasy Dome With His Wonderboy Album Launched

Prior to the release of the WonderBoy Album, majority didn’t see this coming. The album hype was a bit slow and even the fans complained about low trends for the upcoming event. Even the media was kept in the dark, as to is it going to be successful since most thought there was low patronage and no sponsorship for the event.

The word to use here is Shatta Wale and Shatta Movement are unpredictable, it will marvel you to know that the numbers in and out of the Fantasy dome will shut critics up.

The much anticipated launch of Shatta Wale’s album, ‘WonderBoy’ just ended at the Fantasy Dome, Trade Fair, Accra. Dubbed ‘WonderBoy Album’ concert, the event attracted thousands of music enthusiasts and fans of the dancehall artiste who thrilled his fans with his spectacular performances with songs from his old and new albums.

This time around there was a lot of changes as both A, B, C list artist mounted the stage to thrill the fans and the invited guest at the fantasy dome compared to last year’s concert. Last year only upcoming artist and selected few artists were allowed to perform, this year the likes of Kofi Kinaata, Fameye, Kwaw Kese, Epixode, Criss Waddle, Quamina MP etc rocks the stage alongside some selected artistes, including Shatta Movement Militants. There was also other Ghanaian celebrities who graced the occasion, Nana Aba Anamoah, Salma Munim, Efia Odo, Nikki Simons and others graced the event uniquely

There’s nothing like doubting that Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr rules Ghana music. The Africa Dancehall King is one of the biggest asset Ghana music has ever had, with low media recognition and slow social media trends to have attract these crowd tells it all.

The moment he mounted the stage, i had goose bumps allover, he is loved, truth be told, the experience at this concert is extra. The show was just successful and massive no doubt.

The album is currently trending on the iTunes chart, whilst some of the singles on the album like, Ay3 Halfcast, Bad Man, Jata Bi, California, Be Afraid, Melissa, By All Means, Blessings Upon Me etc are also making waves on the afrobeat hot charts on iTunes.
