Showbiz critic and musician, A- Plus has waded into the ongoing tussel between the VGMA board and Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy after announcing their ban lifted.
One would have thought the two will be happy about the new developments.
But the two Dancehall artists have been raising their concerns over non- consultation.
Shatta Wale has even gone ahead to record a diss song for the award scheme.
On UTV’s United Showbiz hosted by Nana Ama Mcbrown, A- Plus revealed that the only reason VGMA lifted the band is that they have realized they are they’ve been making losses without the two.
According to him, the award scheme has been lossing lots of revenue over the few years that Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy have been banned.
He continued to say that the largest voters are from the camps of Shatta Movement and Bhim Nation therefore their absence will drastically reduce the revenue.
To prove that VGMA indeed are calling back the two Dancehall artists because they want to make money out of them, he said they wouldn’t have recalled an artist with a lesser brand.
