North London based English top tier football club, Tottenham Spurs has officially announced the sacking of their manager, Josè Mourinho.

Josè Mourinho was brought in in November 2019 to the club to do what the immediate former coach, Mauricio Potchettino couldn’t do for so many years; win them trophies.

Things however hasn’t been as smooth as planned as he 6th on the league log and only qualified the team to the Europa League.

Things are even worse this season as the club is currently 7th with no chance of qualifying for the Champions League.

His rescent public criticism of players hasn’t helped matters either.

Tottenham Spurs under Mourinho has won just one of their last 5 EPL matches, biggest defeats against Manchester United and Arsenal

The ownership of the club are reportedly not happy with his performance and have asked him to leave with his team of coaches including Joao Sacramento, Nuno Santos, Carlos Lalin and Giovanni Cerra.

“The club can today announce that Jose Mourinho and his coaching staff Joao Sacramento, Nuno Santos, Carlos Lalin and Giovanni Cerra have been relieved of their duties”. The club posted on their office social media pages.
