Arsenal fans all over the world screamed for joy when the most dramatic, long and dragged transfer of last transfer window finally went through.
It was a last-minute signing by Arsenal as Thomas Partey’s release clause of 50M Euros was activated by the club.
Partey has however since played in less than 5 matches for the Gunners due to a tight injury he picked against Aston Villa.
He was rushed back in the North London derby against Tottenham Spurs but that worsened the situation and has been out since then.
Mikel Arteta, Arsenal first team manager, speaking in a post match interviewed how happy he is at the news of Partey’s eminent return.
“We’ve been missing him. He brings something different to the team. He’s a player with an enormous talent, but as well someone who can transform the team the way we want.” He told journalists
According to him, he’s return will be like a fresh signing for the club.
“Absolutely, we are in January and I think he has played two-and-a-half games. That’s all and he was our main signing.” Arteta when asked if he’s return will be like a new signing.
Partey could be available for Arsenal’s next Match against Newcastle on 9th January,2020 in an FA cup clash.
