Shatta Wale’s Gringo Video Has Won Him Another Enormous International Award

Shatta Wale’s Gringo Music Video has won him another superb award over the likes of  ‘‘My Own’ [Samini, Ghana] crush for the same award competing with ‘Medication’ [(Remix) Damian ‘Jr. Gong” Marley – [Stephen “Ragga” Marley, Wiz Khalifa & Ty Dolla – Jamaica], ‘Africa X Jamaica’ [Morgan Heritage, Platinum and Stonebwoy – Jamaica], ‘Mad Love’ [Sean Paul and David Gua, Ft Becky G – America], ‘Tip Pon it’ [Sean Paul & Major Lazor – Jamaica].

The ‘Island’ hitmaker Charles Nii Armah has again won another prestigious award, ‘GRINGO’ Video of the year at the just ended 37th International Reggae And World Music Awards [IRAWMA], The music video which was directed by Sesan is undoubtedly one of the popular music videos emerged on the continent in 2018 and merit such an acknowledgement.

SHATTA WALE has already won his first international award from Ugandan’s HiPipo MUSIC AWARDS, with his last year’s biggest dancehall song ‘GRINGO’ which made waves across borders, both locally and internationally as ‘BEST AFRICAN MUSIC VIDEO’, back home he has won 8 Awards from  Ghana 3Music Awards recently, another surprise has just come in, BEST ‘AFRICAN MUSIC VIDEO’ at International Reggae And World Music Awards [IRAWMA], add up to a catalogue of awards Gringo video had already won since it’s released in 2018.

The International Reggae And World Music (IRAWMA), established in 1982, is to acknowledge and honor the accomplishments and contributions of reggae and world music artists, including: songwriters, performers, promoters and musicians.
