After two teenagers murdered a 10-year-old for money rituals at Ofaakor, Accra the public has mounted pressure on the security apparatus of the state to act to avoid future occurrence.
This was after the Ghana Police Service revealed that the two teenage ritual murderers were influenced by TV advertisement.
Based on public outcry, the police have been began clamping down on some of thee stations that run advertisement on money doubling and money rituals and the people behind them.
It is in line with this that popular fetish priestess, Patricia Asiedu better known as Nana Agradaa was arrested, detained and assisting in investigation.
In view of this, state security has clamped down on two TV stations; Thunder TV and Ice 1 TV, which belongs to spiritualist Patricia Asiedu, popularly known as Nana Agradaa.
Nana Agradaa was arrested together with her TV crew. Two equipment believed to have helped her and the crew to engage in illegal transmission seized two (2) equipment each used were also taken to the police station.
She is suspected to have duped a lot of people under her fraudulent money doubling scheme she calls “Sika Gari”.
The licenses of her TV stations, Ice 1 and Thunder TV have accordingly been revoked.
