Maccasio Grabbed ‘Dancehall Song Of The Year Award’ At Ghana Music Awards UK

The ‘Make am’ hit maker, Maccasio has been up to his game and doing so well, he recently featured his Godfather and Dancehal Ruler Shatta Wale on his project and comes another collaborations with popular music group Mugueez which got him this award; (The Reggae/Dancehall Song of The Year – Dagomba Girl – Maccasio Ft. Mugeez) and many giants artistes he has worked with.

He is a celebrated musician in the Northern Region and arch rival to Fancy Gadam ‘King of the North’ in the music industry.

Tamale-based hiplife/dancehall artiste Sherif Abdul Majeed , popularly known in the music fraternity as Maccasio, has won Reggae/Dancehall Song  at the just ended Ghana Music Awards’19 UK in London.

Maccsio won the award over the big artistes like Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy and Stonebwoy.

He has also appeared on many musical concerts held in the country and performed with music stars like Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Kwesi Arthur among others.

The just ended Ghana Music Awards UK 2019 show honoured a powerful and show-stopping line-up of artists, entertainers, & cultural icons across more than 30 categories at the 4th Annual Ghana Music Awards UK.

The fun filled night also saw the very best in entertainment and culture with performances and appearances by some of the biggest names across television, film and music.
