Inter Milan Wins Serie A Title, Ends Juventus’ Nine-Year Dominance As Italian Champions

Inter Milan have won this season, 2020/2021 Serie A title with four more matches to play.

This has been become possible as their closest rival, Atalanta played a 1-1 draw with Sassuolo on Sunday.

Atlanta’s result against Sassuolo means that the league leaders now have unassailable 13-point cushion.

The blue and black side of Milan laid one hand on the trophy with a 2-0 win over Crotone on Saturday.

Atalanta’s 1-1 draw at Sassuolo on Sunday however ensured the Serie A leaders become champions with four games to spare.

Not only has Antonio Conte ended Inter Milan’s Eleven-year trophy drought, he has also put an end to what he started,

He has successfully ended Juventus’ nine-year Scudetto winning cycle, which he started in 2012.
