Joyce Dzidzor Mensah, a former HIV/AIDS Ambassador wrote on her social media wall that she has secured 50million dollars as her quota to support the construction of National Cathedral.
President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo is pushing for the construction of a National Cathedral, which has spawned heat in the country. A lot of people especially the opposition party has come out to bash the president for this agenda he’s strident of constructing a cathedral and Joyce Dzidor Mensah is not omitted.
Recently in a viral video, Joyce was seen begging for money in a train somewhere abroad for the construction of the National Cathedral. In her live video on Facebook she stressed that, she won’t stop begging for money for the National cathedral until she has mobilized enough funds to support the building of the National Cathedral.
And just this morning, on her wall she posted,
“I say what I mean I mean what I say.
I said am raising money for the national Cathedral and I still stand by my words I have just secured 50 million dollars.
Yes I know for some reasons I lost credibility in the past which is the main reason I have decided to video everything I do and every money I raise. I don’t have the intentions of pocketing a peswa from whatever I raise.
Those of you insulting me are you still going to insult me when you see in the new video that I have secured 50 million dollars?
Can someone please inform President Akuffo Addo that I have secured 50 million dollars? I do not have any link to the presidency and I have no idea how to go about the money issue”.
The question now is , if is true will the government go forward for it? Or is a sham from the acclaimed celebrity?
