Hyundai And KIA Are Set To Establish Assembly Plants In Ghana – Sector Minister Announces

The Minister for Trade and Industry, Hon. Alan Kojo Kyeremateng has announced that two automobile companies are ready to invest in the country.

The ministry who made this public through his official verified Twitter account said Hyundai and KIA are ready to set up assembly plants in the country 2021.

The development means that the two, Hyundai and KIA will join the already existing ones like Toyota Suzuki, Nissan, Volkswagen, Sinotruck and Kantanka in the automobile industry in Ghana.

According to the sector minister, the Ghana Auto Development Program by the government will create 3,600 assembly and 6,600 manufacturing parts jobs.
