The Black Stars have travelled to Khartoum, and will be taking on Sudan in the last of their two-legged African qualifying fixtures.

But they are going into ths match without all of their 3 captains.

The second captain, Thomas Teye Party redrew from the squad due to a thigh injury he sustained during Arsenal’s last home defeat to Aston Villa.

The third captain, Richard Ofori will not be in poles for the Blackstars because he has been suspended. The Olando Pirates’ shot stopper picked a yellow card against the Falcons of Jediane of Sudan ,in what became accumulated yellow cards.

The biggest blow and the latest is that the Substantive captain, Dede Ayew has picked up an injury and will be flown back to Swansea for tests to assess the extent of the injury.

This is a major blow for CK Akunnor because they need to win this match to confirm their AFCON qualification.

The last leg of the two will be played today, November 16, 2020 at 1.00pm Ghana time.

We wish our senior team the best of luck.
