After the music goddess Beyoncé’s Lion King: ‘The Gift’ Album was nominated in the Best Pop Vocal Album category for the 2019 Grammy Awards, there has been a lot of hullabaloo and discussion on social media on whether Shatta Wale is allowed to say he’s a Grammy Award nominee, via his co-writing/performance on the “Already” song on the album.
Fuse ODG, who was awarded a Grammy award via same means [for co-writing Ed Sheeran’s ‘Divide’ album which won ‘Best Pop Vocal Album‘ at the 2018 Grammy Awards] was phoned in by Mz Gee on 3FM Showbuzz to dismiss the attempt at discrediting Shatta Wale’s deserved nomination.
The artist got ‘furious’ at Mz Gee and Ameyaw Debrah for setting out to discredit Shatta Wale. Fuse ODG made it known to them that, Shatta Wale needs support from Ghanaians and the media, he believes the media should support positivism over negativity because too much of it is killing the industry.
Ameyaw Debrah who asked the questioned gingered the artist reaction belowhttps://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=2585933724777243&id=1931714803532475
