Election 2020: We Will Put A Levy On Sports Betting In Ghana – NDC’s Sammy Gyamfi

The National Communication Director of the largest opposition party, the National Democratic Congress(NDC), Sammy Gyamfi has been explaining his party’s policies on sports.

Hosted by a Multimedia sports staion, Asempa FM, the learned lawyer was asked to detail his Party’s policies on how to improve sports in the country.

In response to this, the outsopoken politician stated that the party seems to put levies on sports betting in the country.

According to him, by this they will be able to generate enough funds which they will intend invest into the country’s dying sports.

He assures the listeners of the policy’s feasibility as he cited England as model.

Concerns from youths who are so much into betting have been if this policy would have a consequences on the betting odds or will it meant that they pay higher for staking the same slip they use to?
