The celebration of completion of their programmes was cut short after a student, Majid from the Department of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Sport (HPERS) injured himself in the process.
From the video provided below, the students who were elated for completing their Programmes were seen engaged in acrobatics skills.
As students from the HPERS, it is very normal. The guy in particular was very skillful at the art as videos of him training at the sports centre emerge.
In what looked like a competition, one guy earlier went, did the acrobatics skills which saw him rolled and was successful. Majid however jumped but unfortunately heavily landed on his neck.
He was then rushed to hospital but was confirmed dead a day after.
