Covid-19 has been damaging to every economy in the world including the so-called economic super powers.
Jamaica is one of the hardest hit economies hence have been looking for ways to securing the vaccines.
The condition given by the vaccines producers however has caused public outcry.
Veteran Dancehall artist, Buju Baton has come up against the Jamaican government’s decision to give legal immunity to the producers of the Covid-19 vaccines.
Per the condition given by the producers, they wouldn’t be held responsible for any negative consequences that might have come as a result of taking the vaccines.
Buju Banton who didn’t like the idea took to his his Instagram page and blast the government.
“So the love for this nation and its people soooo great. They will allow there friends to kill you and it’s perfectly ok#honest #Jamaica land they love # not the people,” Buju said. “indemnify the manufacturer for product liability claims associated with the use and administration of that vaccine”.Buju blasts government.
The “Buried Alive” singer was one of several Jamaican superstars to speak against to speak against the government.
Others include Sprgga Benz, Kabaka Pyramid, and Mr. Lexx.
