The Year of Return initiative, was one of the best, which brought a lot visitors and foreigners to the country
The initiative saw American stars such as, Steve Harvey, Hashman Tawfiq(Dembe), T.I, Ludacris, Boris Cudjoe and many others visiting the country.
The visitors usually toured around the country and made a special at the Cape Coast castle to have a feel of how the slave trade was run back then.
Reactions from these visitors after the tour was always heart touching and helped to change the perception they had about Ghana and Africa.
Boris Cudjoe in this regard, shared the experience he had when he to the world on an American show, “The View”.
