Beyoncé’s ‘The Lion King: The Gift’ Album Debuts #1 On Billboard World Album chart

Few weeks after its release, Beyonce’s ‘The Lion King: The Gift ’ album has made it to Billboard’s World Album chart No.1.

Her entry into the chart may have been compilation of how well ‘The Gift’ album on digital platforms is performing. How long the song stays on the chart would be determined by the number of purchases and streams on these digital music stores.

The Lion King: The Gift was released on July 19 via Parkwood/Columbia Records. Beyoncé executive-produced and curated the project and is also a producer on each of the set’s tracks.

The Lion King: The Gift, which is billed to Beyoncé & Various Artists, boasts Queen Bey performing on 10 of the album’s 14 songs.

The ‘The Gift’ album has songs including ‘Already by Beyoncé and Shatta Wale, ‘Spirit by Beyoncé,’ ‘Brown Skin Girl, among others.

Whereas, there has been a couple of articles claiming the Album is already a flop, but with what the album is doing now, and the performances of the songs on the album climbing chart around the globe makes it fluctuate from what the articles made the public to believe.
