Former Ghanaian Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan has finally signed a four years deal with Legon Cities after his move to Asante Kotoko failed.
Few months ago, Asamaoh Gyan publicly expressed his interest in playing for Asante kotoko which has been one of his childhood favorite local club.
Negotiations started between the board members of Asante Kotoko and the entourage/ agent of Asamoah for a deal to be sealed for the striker to play for his favourite local club.
The former Sunderland striker demanded $500,000 price which became a standing block for Kotoko Management to seal a deal with him.
Legon Cities came into the party, and negotiated with Asamoah Gyan’s entourage and have signed four years deal after the striker is set to earn about $1 millon.
We wish the striker all the best in his new challenge in the Ghana Premier League.
